I called in to place a pick-up order, and the person who answered the phone was quite rude and short with me. They seemed to have an attitude and suggested that I should have just come in to order at the counter. When I arrived, the cashier was also quite unpleasant, even yelling at the worker who was preparing the food. Honestly, if someone had spoken to me that way, I would have left immediately. The food itself was just okay, but overall, it was a terrible experience.

The food was excellent, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. This restaurant has the potential to be a go-to spot for me. *Update*: Prices are slightly elevated, similar to many places these days, but the staff continues to be outstanding. They genuinely care about their customers. It has indeed become a regular dining destination for me, and the food remains fantastic.

Life saver. Open on labor day. Got a pound of chopped pork and large Brunswick stew. Meat was unusually good, great smoke taste, very little fat. Some of the staff, such as the Meat Man, have been working at 13th Street BBQ for many years, ensuring that the barbecue remains consistently delicious. I particularly enjoy their smoked sausage.
