We head to the Erko Bowlo once every six months or so on a Friday night for the meat raffles and a bit of fun. It's down-to-earth, basic and loud. If you are a gourmet or offended by garish lights and rough people with foul mouths, stay away!Friday nights are usually crowded for the aforementioned meat raffles, especially if there is a South Sydney football match on. We have been to the Erko many times for large family gatherings. The Chinese food at Bill's Kitchen is always great, fresh, cheap and plentiful and the staff are always friendly and helpful. It is nice to sit outside on a warm day under the shade, but also plenty of seating inside too. This place isn't fancy, but it sure is good value.
This restaurant is a hidden gem known only to locals. They offer affordable drinks and delicious Chinese food from Charlie's. We even booked our party and wedding here, and Justin and his staff were all incredibly welcoming and accommodating.

A great old school Bowling Club where you can sit outside, well away from many Covid peeps and enjoy a quiet beer in the fresh air without the hassle and crowds of the Beachside suburbs. Bliss!!!
