I have been to Arirang many times, because they offer the best Korean pancakes and our favorite hotpot in Canberra: the Big pork bone hotpot.The pancakes offered in the restaurant are crispy, yet still packed with a lot of ingredients. Unlike in other places where the pancakes are either soggy or too floury. The big bone hotpot -the $45 dollar one to be shared between 2 to 4 people is also really a bargain for meat lovers who does not mind shearing the meat from the bones. We've only been once and this was a month after returning from Seoul in South Korea. The hot pot stew thing with pork bones wasn't that fantastic but the fried chicken was really good! It was crispy, tasty and a generous portion too! Close to the real Korean fried chicken! We ordered the hot and crispy and sweet chilli (half and half for $1 extra!).We ordered the pork bone stew pot and wasn't very impressed though...
Usually enjoy this restaurant but for my daughters birthday it didn't hit the mark. Service was poor. We had to ask for bowls, get our own cutlery and drinks. Food was 'tossed' unceremoniously onto the table. The waitress spend most of the night wit her back to customers. The only time she hurried are did her join was to get your money on exit. Sad as we usually enjoy eating here.
We love this restaurant. We've been going there for a few years now and love almost everything there. By far the best Korean restaurant in Canberra. Remember to try their fried chicken, it is the best I've ever had, period. If you like KFC or southern fried chicken, their chicken is better, albeit a little pricier.

The food was great...authentic Korean. Service was adequate but not fantastic. Always busy but there always seems to be room. Always want to return. Its a fun experience for people who aren't familiar with Korean food, and a taste of home for Koreans.
The food is amazing, especially the hotpot. The portion and the price is reasonable. The table setting is very crowded, not much space for walk and very noisy. It is not a good place for family if you have a pram for your children.
The stew and pancakes we had were the perfect fix for a cold winter day out. Only wished they had a different selection of the banchan (side dishes). Other than that, very satisfied with the meal here. Recommended! ????????
We love Korean food and this is one of the best place for Korean food in Canberra. I noticed that there's a new menu and it is awesome that the variety has increased. Love their chicken chilli wings.

Arirang is probably a relaxed local eatery that serves authentic Korean food- will highly recommend it to anyone who visit our neck of the wood.
