The service at this restaurant was disappointing, to the point that I left a $0 tip—a rarity for me after 20 years. Our server didn’t seem apologetic about forgetting items and took a long time to take our order, even though the place wasn’t busy. When we finally asked for the bill, our server started cleaning other tables and completely overlooked us, forcing me to get up and track her down to ask again. I received the bill just 30 seconds later, so it was clear that printing it didn’t take long. I ordered the fisherman's soup, butter scallops, cream scallops, and spaghetti with meat sauce for the kids. The spaghetti was quite disappointing, featuring small pieces of meat and mostly tomato sauce. The butter scallops came with just six tiny scallops for $39, served with a side of rice and a garden salad that had no vegetables. On the positive side, the fisherman's soup was a generous portion with a nice mix of seafood. Unfortunately, it was my birthday, and the restaurant did not do much to make it feel special. We only had one chance to dine in Perce, and I regret not choosing a different restaurant. I cannot recommend this place.
I’ll start with the positive. The restaurant looks clean, they open early, and do takeout. I entered through the exit by mistake and all the waitresses looked at me like I had just shot their dog. Not very welcoming. I ordered two orders of toast with strawberry jam and peanut butter. They gave me one order of toast with peanut butter and one order of toast with strawberry jam. Seriously? How does someone screw up somethings so simple? Four pieces of toast and a coffee for $10. Yikes! The toast was very small. The coffee is not very good
Going to get straight to the point. We came to Table a Roland after a bad experience elsewhere. Walked in, seated within 3 minutes. Already off to a better start than the other place. The waitress came and took our order almost immediately, ready to answer any questions we had. We got the lobster among other things. Food came out promptly and it was good, no complaints. We weren't wowed by anything but definitely a positive experience. If you're in Perce, worth checking out!
We arrived for a light meal at 9 a.m. and found the restaurant not too busy. There were three of us, and we decided to order a burger, lobster, and some calamari. Our waiter was a pleasant young man who spoke good English and was very attentive. The food was decent—not particularly remarkable—but the service was good. My only issue with the place was the pricing, though it wasn't too excessive. I would definitely recommend it.
Very ordinary meal (burger platter) and cold service. Beware scammy menu, outside the menu looks appetizing but they don't give you the same menu inside and prices are also not the same. See pictures. I was aware of the bad reviews but unfortunately, nothing else was available. Yes, we regretted it.
We had the table d'hôte (salmon shrimp) and it was delicious!!!! Yes, you wait a bit, but we remember most companies throughout the province (and say even land) are underoccupied, so you have to be comprehensive. Overall, the price quality was perfect. I would definitely recommend it and come back!
Nice place and very friendly staff. We arrived in the evening without reservation and there were some free tables. The waitresses were very welcoming. The food was good, but a bit on the expensive side. The ambience is clean and relaxed. We enjoyed our soups here when Gaspé came by.
