With a plethora of restaurants and po-boy shops in the New Orleans metro area , there is always debate about who's is the best. Well, I thought I had been to all of the best until today. Banh Mi Boys deserves a place among the titans. Their po-boys may not fit directly into the mold of traditional NOLA faire but they are certainly legit! Had the Bang Bang Shrimp and Grilled Pork po-boy today and I cant wait to come back and try the others. This is a must visit place in New Orleans (Metairie)!! I only get one thing here, but I’ve tried several of their dishes and they are all AMAZING! The BANG BANG SHRIMP though!!! Nothing else like it! I could honestly eat that every day. Over rice or in a Banh Mi!! They have a great selection of fries as well! K-Town fries are my go to. The customer is as great as the food! Even when there is a problem, it’s not a problem!! And they are very tech savvy! I can leave notes in my Uber eats comments and they actually follow them! I absolutely love the Uptown location! It’s wonderful to be able to enjoy the indoors during these colder days. Don't let a short wait deter you—despite having a small team, they operate incredibly efficiently, and the line moves quickly. I can’t get enough of the bang bang shrimp and the pork belly; those sandwiches are fantastic. The debris and oyster fries are an added bonus. I finally visited Banh Mi Boys in Metairie, and it certainly lived up to the hype. The braised pork belly sandwich was excellent and met all my expectations. I also tried the Bang Bang shrimp, and I will definitely be ordering those again on my next visit. The service was quick and friendly, and I enjoyed the outdoor seating. The heaters were just right for a chilly day.

Absolutely delicious. From the moment you walk in, the smell will instantly grab you. Great portions for the price. The menu is varied, the ingredients are fresh, the staff and service are incredibly friendly. The location was very busy, but they handled the crowd perfectly. Would recommend.

I stopped by to pick up the world famous banh mi as I was on way to airport. Wow, this place knows the art of making a delicious banh mi! Check them out, definitely worth it.
