I had a nice lunch with friends today. the food was delicious and cheap. the young ladies who served us were very attentive and friendly trying to borrow a loan to the owners of the bay horse. I will definitely visit again and would recommend to everyone in the opposite, book a table and enjoy it!
absolutely brilliant gourmet audience restaurant. all food from local suppliers. three of us for birthday dinner. patterned duckbone.Puffed steak and goosnargh chicken breast. not cheap, but then good quality food and service should not be. we'll be back....oh and the sticky toffee pudding is yum!
the bay horse inn is a large local pub that serves well over average pub food. local ingredients well cooked in good environment. exactly what I was looking for and I would be very happy to return.

Lovely staff, food and beer. The food is a bit on the pricey side. Free overnight campervan parking if you have a meal is great though.
Absolutely great food pubWe weren't expecting anything like fancy gastro pub food, and it totally exceeded our expectations.
Great, authentic pub experience with a pinch of high culinary art. Totally recommended and we will be back.
