The position in The garden centre is lovely especially on a nice day. The staff are friendly and helpful. The salads looked amazing and large and the kids fish and chips were good. However we had the two rosti dishes on the menu, I had the indulgent rosti and my husband the normal. His certainly was not worth the money comprising of the rosti, spinach, a tiny piece of pumpkin and sour cream on top. Mine was priced right however both of us thought that the rosti tasted and looked like a thick potatoe pancake. Both dishes lacked seasoning. Don't call it rosti if it isn't! The cafe has changed hands recently and is now called No 1 restaurant. They serve meals as well as cakes, rather than paninis etc. I had the pork with cherry sauce and vegetables, which was stunning and my friend had the salmon with vegetables and it was just perfect.It is a husband and wife team and he does the waiting side while she is the chef. He has obviously worked in quality establishments, judging by the skills and service. It was such a lovely lunch. Thank you.

My purchase only came to $9.40. The waitress said '$10 minimum. (No sign displyed or pointed out!?) I had no cash, so she charged me an extra .50c.. It wasn't that I couldn't afford the extra .50c it was the stinginess of the cafe asking for it. Will never go back, plenty of good cafes in the area that don't have this money grabbing policy. (I had business myself and know this is revenue raising).

Back again here. Always great but this time exceptional. Everyone knows that the dish that sends nearly all Masterchef contestants home is the risotto. This was a special so I cannot guarantee it will be on the menu. This chef obtained an immunity pin for his vege risotto cooked to perfection. Had a breakfast catch up with friends recently at the Bay Road Nursery cafe. Great and healthy breakfast choices, great coffee and very friendly staff. Adjoined garden centre and nursery is well stocked and loved the huge variety of plants, pots and garden tools- equipment. Will visit again.

Service is terrible and food is horrible and expensive for what you get. There was not much variety on the menu and the small selection they had was poor and a few things were not available . I cannot recommend this place less.

The carrot cake and coffee was highly recommend, and did not disappoint. Apparently it is their best seller, and I know why - fresh, moist and very tasty. The cafe is lovely and is very popular with the locals.

Had brunch here today to catch up with friends,the food wasn't bad but we found the price a little bit expensive compared to other eateries that we have been too Reserva una mesa ahora

A great little spot to rest up with good food surrounded by the nursery wares. parking can be a problem but a short walk is worth the effort.

Everything was fine until they charged 3% for my Amex and then had the cheek to round up to the nearest $.
