So disappointed with the barbecue ribs and green beans.. didn’t have any flavor and tasted very bland. The green beans were hardly cooked. It looks great from the picture but it is not in your mouth. Wouldn’t recommend and when I called to complain the owner decided it wasn’t fitting to accommodate my request for a refund. I’m from Louisiana I know how this food should taste. I will be disputing this with my bank and I will not be back. Sad that the owner even charged me an extra $2 for a side of rice when I ordered a 2 $7.00 bowls of his gumbo. It’s not enough rice, with the serving. You should put a little more in as a curtesy! Thank you for being not a good customer service manager!
Nice casual friendly atmosphere. I only gave this a four because of parking was extremely challenging other than that everything about this restaurant I liked. The service was good and there were a wide selection of specials available. I tried the bbq platter with brisket, ribs and sausage. I found this to be very tasty with a good bbq that was not overpowering the meats flavor. The garlic green beans were well done the way I like them which is al dente. This place is worth stopping in to give it a try and establish for yourself if this meets with your expectations.

consistent taste, with the focus on consistency. my favorite is the darkened cat, but I had many of the elements on the menu as well as the specials. I've never been disappointed with everything I ordered. this is really eating!
I absolutely love this restaurant! The atmosphere is so chill and the food is amazing. My kids surprised me by taking me there for my birthday last night. I'm already looking forward to going back!
This restaurant is absolutely horrible! I mean truly terrible. I'm not sure where the owners are from, but they really need to rethink their entire taste profile.

I did not like the food. Had the catfish not seasoned and slimy in the middle. The beans and rice were bland and the sweet potatoes were nasty.
The food was average at best. I didn't sense any Louisiana influence in the dishes. The cornbread was dry and the food lacked flavor.
