We chose this restaurant because it had the highest ratings in town, and we were delighted with our decision! The appetizers and entrees were significantly larger than we anticipated based on another review. We were so full that we couldn't finish our meals and had no room for dessert. The halibut was fresh and flavorful, while the scallops were perfectly cooked and paired with a wonderful sauce. Although I didn't try the pasta, our friend said it was delicious. The drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, were refreshing and unique. The service was outstanding as well. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone at any time. Be sure to make reservations! Place was hopping but they sat us at the bar... kinda tight spot but chill. Dr J cocktail was a winner, as were the Nova Scotia brews. We opened with a calamari app, which was tasty and light. Very fresh too. Next we had a scallop dinner along with leg of lamb which was also tasty. The only thing keeping this from a 5 star rating is that the portions could never have been worthy of calling it an entree. The lamb, at $28, had 6 bite sized medallions. Great food, but maybe consider a second dinner after eating here!

I had a wonderful dinner at this charming restaurant. I want to commend Martine and Sylvie for transforming our beloved old Magnolia's with beautiful food and ambiance. The only thing that could enhance it further would be to include your own take on Peanut Soup on the menu. The service was outstanding, and we've already made reservations for another dinner with some good friends.

Beautiful from start to finish. Wine is reasonably priced at $8 a glass. I had a large salad and it was a good sized serving. Waitron staff are attentive and genuinely care about your experience. This is non-prententious, modern dining at its best. Arrive early, place gets busy. I was a solo diner, sat at the bar and met some great people.

A cute little restaurant, that curls up and dies as soon as the tourists leave, reminding the locals that they don't matter in their own town as far as this cute little tourist destination is concerned. The food isn't bad, but not remarkable either. Similar to an Olive Garden minus the bread sticks.

This place is an absolute gem!!! Exceptional service with delicious fresh food! The dishes were beautifully cooked and full of flavour!! Staff were professional and very welcoming. Definitely one of the best places in Lunenburg! Highly recommend!!

Do not pass through town and miss this dining opportunity. It's fresh and local, fancy without being fussy or overpriced. Try the halibut entree or the scallop and rabbit risotto which will blow your mind.

This is one of the top places we have ever had . Food is amazingly good. We used to have to travel to Iceland for good scallops but this is literally next door. The services were also top top notch.

I had dinner in Lunenburg at this restaurant. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the scallops were cooked to perfection. The burger was good, and the fries were extra crispy. Overall, no complaints!

Great stop for lunch in this pretty little fishing town. Had the fish cakes and chopped salad and haddock both of which which were excellent. Great service, cozy atmosphere. Recommend highly!
