You know how you feel when you walk in a place and feel not welcomed, that’s how I felt dining at this place. I am a person of colour and felt the color discrimination just on the staff’s face and more specifically on our waitress’s face, tone and behaviour. We sat and the waitress already gives a vibe that we should make a quick order, zero patience. The place was very small and no air circulation. Same waitress did not seem pleased when we asked her to open a window to get some air in. I think the main negative experience I had over that day is because of this lady. Sadly we chose to eat here because Half Shell (excellent by the way) was closed for the season. We were hoping that some of the food from Half Shell would be the same since same owners — not the case. The seafood chowder was very disappointing. The mac daddy burger was one of the worse that I’ve ever had.bland, tasteless and dry. Bun was like burnt toast. The chicken and BLT sandwiches were not great tasting and the mussels were disappointing. On top of all of this the price was shocking. Not great value. Staff were friendly and the space was charming. Drinks were good. Appetizers were delicious and we should have ended the meal there. The mains were completely disappointing. We had ordered the seafood pasta, scallop linguine and pad Thai. The seafood pasta was quite a small portion and the sauce was very plain. The scallop linguine which is one of their popular dishes was lacking flavour. The pad Thai was greasy. Will not be coming back.

Ordered the advertised fresh lobster roll with chowder. The roll was dry, could be the bread was stale. Glad i ordered the soup so i just dipped the roll in it to fix the issue. For the price, a bit of fries or chips would be preferable than a pickle. The raspberry cheesecake was a bit disappointing. 2 or 3 raspberry fruits on top would be more appealing. 2 star for good service and location Service: 5

I've been to this place while visiting Lunenburg. We ordered seafood chowder and vegetable pizza. And both of them were AMAZING!!!! It was the best chowder, that I tried in Nova Scotia. It's very creamy, with lots of seafood and not that much potatoes. The pizza was more Italian style and it was also delicious. Highly recommend! I will definitely come back again! Service: 5

This was on my list of places to go when in Lunenburg. I had plenty of seafood in Nova Scotia so at this point, I decided to try something else. I had the sausage rigatoni and it was excellent! I also just loved the atmosphere of the restaurant in general. Had a cool vibe to it. Would definitely recommend! Service: 4

Went for lunch but didn't stay at the inn, Overall food was good but the chowder was incredible! My wife didn't like the spice on the lobster roll but I enjoyed it. Prices were reasonable and service was fast. Beautiful view of the harbour while eating

Delicious lobster roll on perfectly toasted bread. Equally good were the fish cakes, highly recommend both, as well as the chowder and the tomato soup. Service: 5 Location: 5
