My wife and I were in Lunenburg on a beautiful August day. After visiting the shops and several art galleries, something to eat was in order. As a vegetarian, it is often difficult to find something to eat at pubs and restaurants on the main tourist streets. Fortunately, we went a few blocks off the beaten path and discovered Lincoln Street.Food is my priority at restaurants, but the clean "urban chic" interior was very satisfying. As soon as being seated, we were presented with water and menus. We opted for the brunch Buddha bowls and it was the correct choice...fresh greens, soba noodles, house pickles, sauteed tofu, and deep fried chick peas. The accompanying coconut curry dressing had just...

Sometimes in ones travels, one gets an insider scoop from a local. This happened in lovely Lunenberg. I had asked about a few of the usual suspects with little enthusiasm from the locals. Then I happened upon Pentper! Wonderful shop. The fellow told me his favourite place to eat was Lincoln Street Food. I trotted over, took a gander ( clean lined! cozy! menu yummy)! Lucky enough we got a table as a walk in and proceeded to have the best meal of our holiday. The dishes were excellent in all respects. Perfectly cooked seafood with imagination. We had a wonderful wine and fantastic recommendations by the owner, Jody, who was completely engaging and contributed substantially to the memorable eve...

Went for dinner with 4 girlfriends. We had an a zing time from the moment we entered. Great vibe, excellent service( the waitress serviced us all night with a beautiful smile on her face)! we all had the prix fixe for 47 dollars plus tax. You could order anything from the menu on this deal, plus the chalkboard specials- no exclusions. I had fresh crab and avacado salad, scallops, and avacado coconut key lime pie. Each course was fantastic.the presentation was beautiful and the flavours fresh and beautifully balanced. It is honestly one of the best meals I have had - service, vibe, presentation, cost- all top notch. Would go back in a heartbeat!

A small menu with a vegetarian, a fish and a meat main course all with a choice of any before and any dessert. The before dishes are all generous and there is a good choice between the 5 of us .we had oysters, scallops,a salad and my favourite vegetable tempura . For a main 3 had great Bouillabaisse and 2 had steak . The chocolate dessert was the winner of the 3 offered. There was one in the party who has gluten free and was easily accommodated. All this and good wine by the glass. If the prix fix is too much food anything can be ordered separately.

Had dinner here in mid-July. Pleasant restaurant, good service. The scallops appetizer was excellent as was the beef dish and the fish of the day (halibut). The reason I gave 4 stars is that the deserts weren't as good -- I had a strawberry napoleon which turned out to be dry, crisp pieces of phyllo and strawberry jam, a little lemon sauce on the side. The chocolate mousse was better but nothing special.Still definitely go.

Spending a couple of days in Lunenburg with our friends and found this gem of a restaurant. The food and the chef were outstanding and the service and staff were fabulous. If you are in Lunenburg - don't look around for another place to eat just go directly to Lincoln Street Food. Fit for a Queen!

A very enjoyable dinner for two. We did the chef's menu - with lots of small bites, and then delicious main course and dessert. The halibut was amazing. Cocktails were perfect. Would highly recommend!

We sat at the bar and got to talk to the chef and watch him cook. Very entertaining! Food was fresh, local and delicious. Tasty from start to finish. True farm-sea to table. Make a Rez and run over!

Another lovely restaurant that caters for vegetarians as well as meat eaters. Superb food, friendly staff, excellent chef and they found us seating at very short notice which was wonderful.
