We made a reservation for breakfast on sunday which starts at 9:30.Late for our crowd, but this is their start time, so we did what we had to do. There were several of us waiting for the doors to open and promptly at 9:30 we were shown to our tables. Previous comments on the temperature in the place were correct, or if I might clarify in our situation, their HVAC system was the issue. Air blowing to beat the band out of holes in the duct work which were missing diffusers. Apparently they cannot control this. I think I'd be speaking to the landlord.One table moved immediately. I don't normally suffer from the cold but this was a steady wind. Not so much cold, but windy. Some diffusers filling...

I decided that I wanted to try Berry Hill's famous Benedict for my birthday breakfast. We arrived at 10:30 on a Sunday and were able to get a seat outside - thank goodness since inside was freezing and super loud. We ordered coffee and our Benedicts - shrimp and asparagus for me and smoked salmon for hubby. Coffee arrived then we waited...and waited...and waited. It was more than 30 minutes before our food arrived. But it should be good right? Not so much.One of my eggs was so overcooked it was hard boiled! The potatoes were cold, hard, rotting (black spots), super starchy, and loaded with pepper. I didn't bother to eat the potatoes.The one egg was done to perfection and the hollandaise was...

I had never really been a fan of Eggs Benedict until I came across this place. (The home made hollandaise sauce is unreal!) In fact, I'd never even heard of this little hole in the wall until I read all the outstanding reviews here on Trip Advisor. It only took one visit to get me hooked, and now it's my go-to breakfast joint. It was always a very small restaurant and usually required a reservation, however they have recently expanded, now making it easier to get a table, and giving it a more relaxed/less congested feel. If you visit on a nice sunny day, the back patio is gorgeous. The prices are fairly high, but the quality of food justifies it. Not my favourite place for lunch or dinner -...

I came here with some local family to try the brandied ham eggs benedict. They are apparently known for their Benedict and it did not disappoint. It was very tasty and I would certainly have it again. The sauce was delicious and the eggs were perfection. It comes with a side of fruit that was fresh and potatoes that were seasoned oh so well. We came on a Saturday, service was quick and pleasant. We sat out at the back which was a surprise in itself. So quaint with its variegated maple tree strung with lights, the red umbrellas and the unique fencing of doors and blinds. Nicely done. I recommend if you are in Oshawa.

I went here last summer with my family for brunch. Wonderful atmosphere but there's definitely some things that could be changed. I had the vegan French toast, it was ok. I have had much better. The other thing that I remember is that our food took a very long time. We are a patient family but even my father was commenting on the wait times. However, I love the interior design and would go back again just for that. We need more places that look like this in oshawa.

We went here for breakfast based on the many excellent reviews. To start the place was freezing.....customers were wearing their jackets to eat breakfast. The service was some of the worst I have ever had....so slow....no offers of coffee refills, when they were asked for a refill, they didn't bring cream/milk so we had to wait again to ask for that. The food was okay, but not the exceptional we were expecting.....I was hugely disappointed :-(

What a great meal. The service was professional and swift. The food was beautifully presented and skillfully cooked. The veal, tender, and the Beef my husband ordered was cooked perfectly medium rare. The baked Brie yummy.My favorite QVA Ontario Wine and wonderful music completed our evening.If you can do save room for the desserts. They are so good to miss!Loved their Brunch, and now dinner... can't wait to our next visit!

I usually reaaaally don't like to eat for breakfast but everything looked sooooo good. I went for the Downtown monsieur which included handmade ham, onion jam sandwich.. it was MARVELOUS. The service was also really good, our waitress was really kind & sweet. I would totally recommand this place & probably will return next time I come to Oshawa.

Great little gem in downtown. We will definitely be back for breakfast and we are making plans to try this place for dinner with a group of friends.

A very ordinary place with slow service and the music was too loud and the A/C was turned down to freezing level.
