We arrived and tried to get some food however, we were told there were no tables available until 45 minutes later, there were two people in a restaurant that could hold over 100. We came back 45 minutes later and there were 6 people in...the restaurant and was told if we want a table we would need to be out within 30 mins as other tables were booked. We came here yesterday hoping for a lovely meal and great service and got the complete opposite. From the outside and the decor it looked the perfect place to eat but that was far from it. We arrived to wait 30 minutes until we ordered...our food. All staff were stood around avoiding eye contact, lacking communication skills and not looking like they wanted to be there. I went here the other day as part of my visit to the garden centre. Hand sanitizer was mandatory upon arrival. I was the only person in here for a shile so felt very safe. Staff had PPE on and food was served from a...distance. You had to go to the till to pay but thats the only time you left your seat. The type of good offered was rapas style starters , typical pub grub such as lasange and curry , pizza flat breads , burgers and desserts. There is also a children's menu. Lovey place, unusual decor (look upwards on arrival into the restaurant bright booths and very peaceful. Tables not crowded together, lots of space. Toilets are unusual too! The menu, although limited, was still big enough to choose plenty of different dishes . Our food arrived,...piping hot, very tasty and beautifully presented. Should have walked away from the outset ! Ignored for several minutes before being acknowledged then seated place was nearly empty and server seemed stressed and rushed placed order and wasted 30 minutes waiting before deciding to leave after watching the poor service/stressed...staff only 2 servers complaining customers/ and poor chef running round ... Looked very understaffed/ no structure to the team no head server and no customer service..won't bother again Just to top if off the decor is awful !

was asked if eating ok by 20 minutes will take from the order, we accepted that. but after sitting and trying to order after 5 minutes, it was said to order 3 more tables before us and at least another 10-15 minutes. that are at least 5 minutes per order. after 10 minutes hungry with children, simply couldn't wait anymore and we had to go to find alternatives for children.
had a nice lunch and felt safe, as the personal wore all the masks and the customers had to wear them also when entering
