Had 2 dinners and even dropped in for late dessert. We had Wed night special seafood meals. They were excellent quality fresh balanced food for only $12 and $15 dollars. I had salmon and my friend Barramundi with yummy sides and for the price it was wonderful. Food was well cooked and fast. Another evening we had beautiful meals from a la carte. I had the best cottage pie which was just so delicious. My friend had chicken. The staff were accommodating with dealing with preferences on sides. The meal at this restaurant was of poor quality and the hygiene standards were subpar. As we were finishing our salad, a black insect crawled out of the remaining lettuce onto our plate. We called a staff member over who took the plate away to show the chef. The staff member later informed us that the chef was not concerned about the situation. When we spoke to the manager, she explained that it had been raining and offered to refund us $12 for the meal. We were shocked by the lack of concern and professionalism displayed by the staff. We enjoyed the food here. For Entree we had, Oysters Mornay and Oysters Kilpatrick which were cooked to perfection and the oysters were fresh. Our Mains were the Fishermans Basket and one of the Chicken Meals which was a special. The service was quick, considering how very busy they were and the staff were friendly. We were initially seated in the little 'room' at the back of the restaurant but it was so loud we asked to move, but this was no issue as the staff were great at assisting with this. I would return for convenience.

I visited this restaurant before and after a Canberra Raiders game, and I wasn't sure what to expect. I noticed that the meals being brought out were generous and delicious. Although I didn't have a meal myself, I can say that the service provided by the bar and serving staff was exceptional. The staff were extremely busy but still managed to maintain a sense of humor, which I appreciated. Despite my lack of humor, they were patient and served me with a smile and a laugh. I highly recommend giving them all a pay rise.
Although the service is excellent, the food is very mediocre. We ate at 7:00 pm but one of our menu choices had already sold out. The bruschetta was tasteless and served on stale tasting tough bread. The pumpkin tortellini was bland and most of the tortellini shells were not pumpkin filled and were over-cooked. The menu is also limited. The wine however was excellent. Better to eat at one of the many nearby restaurants.
Read reviews of this place and some are unwarranted. We had a great meal of Mixed Grill Lambs Fry Bacon. Couldn’t fault the service and it was a quiet late lunch on a Sunday. Thought the prices to be fair for the quality. Enjoyed your Club while visiting your City.
Large sized meals beautifully cooked. Great selection of sides and sauces. Service great. But surreal being the only ones in the restaurant due to covid restrictions everything well managed by staff

The dinner was mediocre, with dishes that appeared and tasted like they were reheated. However, the standout aspect of the experience was the friendly and accommodating staff.
