Great place for brunch! My partner and I went around 1pm and it was pretty busy so we sat outside. Workers were friendly and helpful. Food was super yummy and came out pretty quickly. The mimosa flights were great too! A good size for flights. The only little thing that happened was, they gave me the wrong choice of meat (bacon instead of sausage patties) but I was too hungry so I didn't bother mentioning it. This is more of a casual, self serve restaurant (which I like) so don't expect to be constantly checked up on.
We absolutely adore this restaurant! The freshness of the food is exceptional and sets it apart from most other places. Breakfast features farm-fresh eggs, and the jam is homemade! The Pig's Eye breakfast is one of our favorites, as well as the Bananas Foster French toast—both are simply amazing! Yes, there's a wait, but they inform you about it upon arrival, and it's definitely worth it because the food is so delicious! Keep up the fantastic work, BT!
While the portions are generous, the combination of high prices, cramped space, and long wait times can make you crave a simple, traditional breakfast without the extras, which isn't what this place offers. Surprisingly, when our food arrived, we were left without silverware, so we had to wait for service to bring us some. With a 20% surcharge already included in the bill, it seems this restaurant has a target clientele in mind.
Food is amazing and they bake everything in house, make sure to get a caramel roll or biscuits, both are great. They have different specials every day which tend to be very good in addition to a solid breakfast and lunch menu. Diner style place. Youorder at the counter and your food is brought to your table (you seat yourself). They've added a lot more seating of late andsome patio seating as well.

Great place to stop for breakfast or lunch. Friendly staff, and the food is always top notch super fresh and satisfyingly delicious. Whenever I'm in St. Paul I make it a point to stop here. Plus they have some great bakery items to satisfy your sweet tooth at the end of your meal. Took home a mini key lime pie the last time I was there that my wife and I loved every bite of.
The food was delicious...HOWEVER...it was pricey. You start off by ordering at the counter to which they add 20% to your bill(there is no table service). I dine out a fair amount and although the food came quickly, was fresh and hot...I'm not sure how I feel about this surcharge.
Super friendly staff and a great menu! Decor was a fun blend of classic and modern. The hot sauces and flavors run a little sweet, but the flavor is spot on. Had some nice biscuits and gravy, which benefitted from the pickled onions, and huevos rancheros! Num!
Great selection price point! I had the banana foster French toast and my date had the daily hash with pulled pork and avocado. Our server was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the area. 10/10 recommend

The food was exceptional. The jam served with the freshly baked toast was delightful. The staff were welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend this place if you're in the neighborhood.
