We had such a great experience at Taste of Rondo! We loved the atmosphere. The decor on the walls really showed the history of the neighborhood. The chairs were really comfortable, and there's a large outdoor patio as well. You HAVE to try theirmacaroni and cheese! It has a delicious blend of spices and is probably the best macaroni I've had. We also had the collardgreens with pork, the smoked Gouda grits and the Central Avenue burger. Definitely add the bacon to your burger, it was supercrispy and flavorful. I ordered the mac and cheese and was disappointed to discover it was simply dry, seasoned noodles with no cheese in sight—unless you consider the red seasoning on top as cheese. The chicken was decent but a bit salty, though still flavorful. The greens were average, lacking anything special. They replaced the mac and cheese, which the server deemed unsellable (ironically, she was the one who brought it to my table) with some cornbread that was rubbery and clearly overcooked in the microwave. I ended up finishing the chicken, paying the bill, and leaving the rest of the meal behind. This was my third and final attempt to enjoy their food. They serve Mac and cheese, fried catfish, fried chicken wings, rice and beans and a homemade dressing for your fish or wings!! Plus , I got a delicious drink but I can?t remember the name : . Just ask for an orange flavor drink lol or show the picture !! You?ll love it !

When I tell you the food was so good... believe it! You will not be disappointed. We had a variety of dishes so that we can sample. The catfish, collard greens, grits and shrimp was cooked just right. I am from New Orleans, so I know good food when Itastes it. The atmosphere was relaxing and we met the owners who were personable. Give yourself a treat and try A Taste OfRondo . That 's what 's up!
I called to place an order and the first phone call didn't go through, the second time I called it said the phone number was no longer in service. This is my second attempt to try and support this business. The first time I try to eat there they didn't have what was on the menu. And this time I don't know what's going on but the phone is disconnected. So sad Service: 1
As soon as I sat down , I was attended . I’m reading people complaining about the price at the end of the day you’re paying for quality. My chicken sandwich was amazing , along with the mac.
