The table-side service was exceptional, with the waitstaff bringing food on a cart, which added a nice touch to the dining experience. The clientele was very diverse, with patrons you might not find together in other places, yet everyone was treated equally and warmly. The food was classic steakhouse cuisine, and I enjoyed all of my selections.
The bar is definitely a focal point of the restaurant, and I regret not sitting there for a Whiskey Sour before dinner; I’ll make it a priority for my next visit. This review is a bit overdue, but my wife and I are still thrilled about having our wedding at this venue. Honestly, if I could give it a 20/5 rating, I would. The main reason for this high praise is Randy. We couldn't be more thankful for his enthusiasm and support in planning our special day. Cafe La Cave is closing, and we are very sorry to see it go. The food, service, and ambience were all excellent. They still make the best Caesar Salad. We will miss it. I ordered the Mahi Mahi special served with sides of garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus. The potatoes were exquisite. Light, very flavorful, and with the perfect balance of garlic and butter. The Mahi Mahi, was perfectly prepared in a lemon buttery, garlic sauce. For dessert, we had the upside down chocolate soufflé. Again, very delicious. If you can book a reservation before its last night (which I think is on Friday 3/24), I would highly recommend doing so.
The venue is stunning, and the food was delicious. My family and I had a wonderful time at my cousin’s wedding. The space is large and features beautiful chandeliers and impressive antique mirrors. I particularly loved the restroom, which has a staircase leading to the second floor. The dance floor is perfectly sized and has a cozy atmosphere. The food was fantastic, and I especially enjoyed the wine; as soon as I finished my glass, the servers were quick to refill it! A big shoutout to the attentive and respectful servers. The Dinner was outstanding! Crab Cakes, Lobster Bisque, Seafood Medallions, Vegan Risotto, Steak Diane (prepared tableside) Baked Potato and to top it off whipped cheesecake Bananas Foster (cooked tableside). All cooked to perfection and sealed with a Chef’s Kiss. Over 40yrs of excellence! Happy to have one last experience before you close for good. We LOVED it and will sorely miss this iconic restaurant that has become a tradition for so many these past 46 years! Celebrated my parents 60th wedding anniversary with a wonderful dinner at Cafe La Cave. Party of 12 and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Service was top notch. Special thanks to Tino, Gilberto,Victor and James-great team. My husband had the best dirty martini made my Gus. Truly memorable evening.

It is sad to see this establishment end its run. Everything, as always, was outstanding. Thank you for all of the wonderful times over the years.
I'm relieved that the restaurant's closing date was postponed, giving me one final opportunity to visit. It's a bittersweet moment.
