I normally don’t make reviews but after this experience I have to. I just left this restaurant and I must say this was probably one of the worst experiences I have had production and service wise. I ordered at 8:03 p.m. and did not leave with my food until 9:11 p.m. They ran out of food items prompting an employee to have to make a store run. The young man with the dreads was nice and tried to check on everyone, but when he left the remaining employees were griping about how fit he was to run the establishment. During my most recent visit, I should have been skeptical when I saw several people waiting for their food. We ordered the Catfish Po Boy fried hard and shrimp and grits. After a 25-minute wait, our order arrived with the fries being ice cold. The catfish on the Po Boy was seasoned well and fried to my liking, but there was not enough fish on the sandwich. The homemade tartar sauce, lettuce, and tomato combination was good. Unfortunately, the shrimp and grits were disappointing as the grits tasted like instant grits and needed more salt. So I heard a lot about this place I was told they had the best shrimp grits . I was like okay I ain’t ate all day imma see what they talking about . I called my order in at 6:30 I had to call 3 times for them to take my order then she said the wait was 30 mins to 45 I was like okay imma wait cause I heard it was worth it . I spent 28 on 2 of them to just only be grits 4 shrimps . I waited an hour 15 mins for this ... So maybe I should have order something else but I wasn’t pleased . I wouldn’t have mind the wait if I was going to get a nice meal but I could have just cooked . My experience wasn’t good ..

I ordered a fried shrimp po'boy (spelled differently) and a grilled sandwich for my wife, as well as a midday size portion of shrimp and grits. The shrimp and grits were the best I've ever had, and the sandwiches were delicious. I would give this restaurant more than 5 stars. Reserva una mesa ahora

The staff is friendly, the food is fantastic, and the atmosphere is lovely. Everyone was very welcoming! The strawberry crunch cake is delicious! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone. I absolutely love it!!!!

ordered a fried shrimp poboy(they spell it differently)and a grilled one for my wife and a lunch size shrimp and grits. Best shrimp and grits I've had and the sandwiches were soooooooo delicious. I'd give it more than 5 stars

The food here is absolutely amazing!!! The wings are the best thing ever!!! Fries are seasoned perfect!! The shrimp po boy quesadillas were also a hit...I look forward to each visit down to Birmingham just to eat here!!!

This was my first visit to this restaurant and I found the food to be very delicious. I recommend stopping by and giving them a try.
