John and I first met in 2019 in El Salvador during the Cup of Excellence competition. We connected well, and John invited me after the COE award ceremony to do a farm trip to see Emilio Lopez Diaz. It was an amazing experience to meet Emilio and I have learnt so much about modern coffee farming: the use of machines to prune the coffee trees and the latest innovation when it comes to post harvesting processing. Consistently the best coffee and service in the inner west. Would highly recommend. Newtown Campos is iconic and the cafe is always fresh and buzzy. The head guy Dan leads an awesome team of baristas who really know their coffee, are super passionate and are always friendly. If you want amazing small batch single origin or just your regular coffee made perfectly, this is definitely the place to go.
Hands down the best affogato I have ever have! I loved it so much that I decided to order another one less than an hour. Although the place is a bit small but you don't feel cramp at all and they brewed your coffees just how you like it too. Got this place recommended by a great friend of mine and we certainly had a great time at Campos whilst I am in Sydney and would definitely come back.
Great coffee in Newtown. Short story that I recently visited on Sunday with my daughter (3) and a pram the shop has stairs like many in the area and the manager and his team went out of there way to assist me. The service I had was better than that I have experienced when shopping/dining with a child thank you so much! Keep up the great work team

I had a fantastic coffee at Campos today. Whenever I am in Sydney I alway come here as it is one of the best coffee shops in Sydney. I buy their Superior blend whole beans to make coffee at home and it’s lovely!
For me this is the best coffee in the Inner West. Cappuccino is velvety smooth with the right viscosity. Bean selection always full of flavour. Baristas know what they are doing. Thanks.
I ordered iced coffee from Campos and it probably worth the long queue on a Sunday morning. The coffee is refreshing and smooth. One of the best places for coffee connoisseurs

The best affogato I’ve ever had. They sell some merch as well. The nice little cup was cute. A great spot to chill in the Newtown area.
That classic Campos flavour. Cosy and comfortable spot to stop for a coffee, friendly staff too!
