We were so sad to have such a terrible experience with Carmellas. After a reservation two weeks in advance and confirmation that twice once a week and one day of our reservation, we were told that we would not want a reservation and would like to sit at the bar. After we told them no, we would rather not do it since we made a reservation two weeks before. I showed them our confirmation text. They're stuck in a back room at a terrible table! Our server was amazing at the beginning and was very sweet. Our cocktails were amazing and cudos to the bartender! Absolutely love this beautiful and delicious restaurant. We had the sea bass... the tomatoes and the sauce were amazing. The sea bass could have been a thicker piece and was a bit over boiled...always taste wonderful. Lobster Bisque had a fantastic lobster taste. Love the atmosphere of the original winery. Very beautiful and will definitely try again in hope of the black salmon!! We made reservations... otherwise you could wait 40 minutes to an hour. Sweet waitress... Kaylee... loved to serve us!
I often came to this restaurant. Every time, despite the size of the group and the age of the other guests with me, they only treated us with respect. Together with the food amazing, they go beyond and beyond what is expected in a place like themselves. I will come to Carmela because of the wonderful food and even better administration.
My husband and I both had steaks cooked perfectly to order. The flavors are nowhere near average. The sides with our dishes were wonderfully paired. We had cocktails instead of wine but their wine list was amazing. Our server was top notch. Friendly and attentive. Looking for a nice date night. You will not be disappointed.
