Took mom here for Mother 's Day brunch. Had made a reservation months in advance, as last year they were sold out. So we arrive, and instead of seating us in the restaurant by a window, they try to get us to sit in the overflow seating which is dark and dingy. We ask to be seated in a nicer location, which they do, and the restaurant is almost empty. Why they would seat two people with reservations for a special brunch in the most unappealing area of the restaurant is still a mystery. We both ordered the salmon wellington. It arrived with the salmon tough and dry inside a wet uncooked wrap of pastry. Had to send them back and ordered something new. Received what they called a fritata, which...
The staff demonstrated a thorough understanding of the ingredients used in the dishes and informed us that the Executive Chef has personal experience with Celiac disease in his family. Although they do not have a separate area specifically for preparing food for individuals with Celiac disease, they ensure that the cooking space is cleaned thoroughly and generally minimize the use of gluten in their recipes.
Discrimination?Okay, weird review because I think they made us go into the lounge because we have a guide dog.The greeter said the restaurant was full, but I observed it was not. Upon leaving, I looked again and it still was not. When they said it was full I thought they were referring to reservations.I felt terrible.Food good, excellent waitress.Wheelchair accessibility: Not friendly for guide dogs.
No seniors menu and not too happy to provide a 1/2 order without letting us know it was a big deal to accommodate. The Eggs Benny we ordered was the worst Eggs Benny I've ever had...I've sat out on their deck a number of times and quite enjoyed the food and service there. Had a fantastic dinner experience! The restaurant is beautiful, and tonight's special was local halibut, which was the best I've ever tasted. It was incredibly fresh and expertly prepared. The menu offers plenty of other great choices as well. For dessert, we tried the peanut butter pie, and it was delicious. Bruno provided excellent service throughout our meal!
Both of our servers were so attentive, friendly and accommodating! The food was perfectly cooked hot upon delivery! We booked online for 6pm but there was a technological error that moved our resos to 7pm. The head host was very accommodating and got us in for our 6pm resos with no questions asked.The food was so great, we came back for a second dinner!
I had the beef dip, which was priced at $28. We dined outside and enjoyed the lovely weather. I think it could have benefitted from a bit more cheese and onions, but overall it was a pretty decent sandwich. Thank you! Also, I appreciate the wasp deterrents you had set up around the area!
The food, service, and decor of this newly opened restaurant are absolutely fantastic. We ordered the fish and chips, chicken wings, ribs, fries, and avocado salad, all of which were gluten-free, delicious, and fresh. The portions were generous. We left feeling very satisfied!
