This Korean fried chicken movement is concerning to me, mainly from a dietary perspective, because they 're all so damn delicious. I find myself eating this stuff a couple of times per month, but I can 't decide which outfit is my favorite. Choong Man is really good quality chicken, cooked and packaged expertly (staying hot and moist for a long time). They don 't have a sauce/marinade option that I like as much as one of their nearby competitors. However, purely on chicken alone they get top marks. The best option is garlic soy. Garlic spicy IS hot, at least for this gringo. Some local places have sauces with spicy in the name but no heat in the game. Great onion rings and calamari as well b...
We called ahead and placed an order for takeout, but when we arrived to pick it up, we asked if we could eat it in the restaurant since our plans had changed. Despite offering to tip and purchase additional items, we were told we could not dine in, even though the restaurant was mostly empty. This poor customer service experience left us frustrated and disappointed. The chicken we ordered tasted mediocre, especially the original flavor. With plenty of other dining options available, we will not be returning to this restaurant.
Our favorite was the classic deep fried whole chicken. It stayed crispy and fresh for our takeout dinner and even 2 days later for the leftover dinner. We had the cheese monster which is cheesy and sweet. Can't wait to go back when it's warm as they have so many picnic tables outdoor with tent cover. Really appreciate that they don't use styrofoam and other single use plastic containers.
Choong Man Chicken is one of the best Korean Fried Chicken experiences you'll ever have! The flavor profiles are amazing, you really can't go wrong with any of them! My favorites are Soy Garlic Green Onion, and Snow Onion! On top of it, the owner and staff are all so welcoming and attentive! Definitely come check them out!

Best Korean chicken. We love the snow chicken with its mound of savory silky onions, the soy garlic chicken for its simple garlic soy ooomph, and we even love the curry chicken for its twist on a favorite childhood taste. Everything on the menu is terrific.
The quality of the wings, sauces, service, and wait time are all excellent. However, paying $40 for two orders of wings seems a bit too expensive, especially considering the current circumstances.
The BEST korean chicken place in Chicago!! I've been craving for korean style spicy chicken for long time. I can't believe I just found out about this place. Food and customer service are great!!
Consistently the best chicken around. I prefer the garlic soy tiku tenders. But, truthfully, I have never had a bad dish here. The apps and sides are usually big enough to share among 3 people.

I have been to many Korean Fried Chicken restaurants, but this one is one of the best. They offer a wide selection of fried chicken styles to choose from, and all of them are delicious.
Amazing Korean fried chicken...super crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Tons of sauce options and every kind of fry you can dream of.
