We called in on a very wet lunchtime between xmas and New Year. It was quite busy, perhaps helped by some of the other cafes in town being closed. I liked the different takes on the traditional brunch menu. I chose chorizo, njuda, eggs and beans on toast. Very tasty with a noticeable kick. My brother had the breakfast baton with bacon and eggs. We thought it would be a good idea to be able to add extra items to your choice. Excellent coffees with a complimentary biscuit. It wasn’t cheap at £22 for 2, but the food was excellent.
The girls working were so welcoming and attentive. The food was served quickly, well presented and ridiculously yummy. We had the full breakfast and smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel. The venue is dog and child friendly and has the most beautiful atmosphere that feels private without feeling isolated. Visited here in the evening an extensive menu with additional specials opted for the Pan fried Salmon fillet with tagliatelle which was excellent. Found the beer selection to be on the more traditional side after previously being in Gin Brews. Can’t have everything I suppose? Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

really nice bistro/bar. food was very good. steak and ale pie for me and smoked salmon and prawn salad for the other half. staff superb and couldn't do enough to help. good value for money too, nice selection of drinks too. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
