Came along to Clubhouse with friends for a Drag Bingo event. Food part, not so positive... Ordered food at 7:10 before it started ramping up for the 8pm start. By 7:55 we still hadn 't receive our two plates of food, followed up and was responded with, yes there is a queue . No problems, I can understand this, however people that ordered after me were receiving their food at this time. 8:15 we received a schnitzel veg chips and parmi salad chips. Unfortunately i only received chopped carrot with 9 peas and 3 corn kernels as veg, two very small pieces of schnitzel and chips (chips were fine). The schinitzel appeared to be processed, or very compacted, it had a firm consistency, i didn 't eat...
Whilst the customer numbers on the night were very high due to soccer club photos, the staff numbers were not. Very slow bar service, meals taking beyond 75m after multiple follow ups, food luke warm on delivery, and staff not displaying an appropriate level of engagement or service left a poor impression for our first visit. Food is always great, I never have any issue with the meal they served, always see them get local meat. On the schnitzel and Steak special night is busy. As thickness of schnitzel is too perfect for $15 absolutely not a process food. Try their Pepper and Dianne sauce is one of the best you would find with schnitzel and Steak. I don't mind it, I can always get a table and the service is fast and friendly, food is pretty good too, plenty of space for the kids to run around. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
