We had a sweet tooth after dinner so I decided to get us some waffles from here. This is a cute little dessert coffee shop right next to Winthrop Hospital and the Mineola Station. Parking can be a bit difficult since you can't stop or park up front so you might wanna bring someone with you to watch the car while you run in. Saw this on a friend's IG story and knew I had to bookmark this place! Came with my boyfriend about 20 mins before closing and the staff kindly accepted our order. We both ordered a bolacha with nutella and strawberries. I'm so glad we managed to make it because this was delicious!!! The waffle is crispy and yummy by itself, but I really liked having the nutella and strawberries added. It does get a bit messy to eat though. Also, parking is a pain in this area. Come with a friend and double park while one person runs in!
I ordered the crispy waffle with the Portuguese egg tart, and it was absolutely delicious! It had a perfect combination of thin, crispy, and gooey textures. I got it through Uber Eats, so it was a little cold, but I can only imagine how amazing it would be when served fresh and warm!
The girl who assisted me spent most of her time on her phone. When she handed me the bag, the waffles inside broke right away, and she simply walked off. To make matters worse, one of the waffles was undercooked. Additionally, the hot chocolate was essentially just milk.

The food is always incredibly tasty! The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. The only downside is that the space is a bit small, and parking in the area can be challenging, but that's not their fault. I would definitely recommend this place—12 out of 10!
I had a terrible experience with this restaurant. They promised to deliver my order within 15 days, but it has now been almost a month. Their customer care number never works, and they don't respond to emails. I hope everyone considers avoiding Nova Nova.
Costa Nova was always my favorite place when I lived nearby. I was really disappointed to learn that they've closed down, as their ovos moles were always outstanding! I would love to see them return, even if it’s just through pop-up events!
Always delivers a great experience! The staff is incredibly friendly. I do wish there were more seating options, but the waffles are absolutely delicious. My favorite is the strawberries and Nutella—so tasty and very satisfying!

Great spot for tea! Unlike their competitors who provide lemon wedges, this place doesn't offer any. It's really the owner's responsibility, and I hope you see this—please don't be so stingy!
