Digby's Restaurant

The restaurant was about 6 times. About two years ago I had lunch in this restaurant and was not impressed by the food or service. 7 months ago I thought I would try again as I had read some positive reviews. I was pleasantly surprised that the restaurant was great. The Schellfische n chips (which I always order) were always well prepared and not greasy and hard dough. You can also eat food other than fish, but I recommend that. You can also have other accompaniments with the fish if you don't want any fries. (e.g. potatoes, rice) Josie seems to be the lady we have treated most of our visits and a great woman, upbeat and pleasant. Going further there

Amazing food and nice staff. I love our experience there. The pair next to our table liked the fish and chip so much they ordered additional fish and ended with 16 pieces of fish! Tip: ask the staff, what kind of fish is the best for fish and chips that they recommend, based on how fishy (smell and taste) you want it to be. The food is also Halal.

Excellent restaurant. The lady on the front was polite and answered my questions precisely and helped me choose what I wanted to eat. While I was waiting, one of the cooks called Dan came out to keep me company and we met a good conversation. He was very nice and offered to cook for me the next time. The food itself was stellar. Good.

I dined in with my family tonight... we had a very lovely meal. We all really enjoyed the battered fish ! Very tasty fish with the perfect crispiness !!! Best part was that the menu was completely halal. The owner is very nice and our waitress, Destiny was extremely courteous! Perfect experience... we will definitely visit again !

Fresh fish n chips. Delicious tasting cod with a perfect crisp. Fries very good too. We loved the popcorn shrimp and calamari, also. Definitely will be back to try other fish and other menu items. Lovely server. Funny enough I enjoyed watching reruns of There's Company while having lunch.

First time randomly walked in for lunch , ordered fish . Chips with coleslaw, plus the poutine, and a fried jumbo shrimps. Taste really good! Also love the atmosphere there. Will be back there regularly.
