Jennifer J, was awesome, as our waitress. Very attentive and personable. She was at our table often, refilling water, asking if we needed anything. My redfish paella was amazing, absolutely delicious. So much flavor. The fish was fresh. There was no skimping on the portion size. I took half home with me. My dish was brought to the table piping hot. Yes, I would eat there again. My only problem was the noise level. It was loud, loud, loud. However, food and service were top notch. Everyone one was friendly. I’ve already recommended to a few people.
Beautiful views and relaxing restaurant, but the food quality was a major miss. Had the snapper wrapped banana leaves. Very dry and overcooked. Sauce was gritty and not edible. Removed it but then found fish was coated in flour or something that was also removed, but even that didn’t help. It was only 5pm so wasn’t that the fish become overcooked from sitting too long after the main dinner hour.
I cherish every visit to Doc Ford’s since our first experience at the original location. We’re fortunate to visit St. Pete more frequently now. It was an ideal choice for a birthday lunch to kick off the weekend celebrations!
This is the must-visit spot at the Pier! It took a few months to get a reservation, but the wait was absolutely worth it! The food, the service, and the view were all exceptional! I will definitely return!

Our server was outstanding. While the prices were on the higher side, everything was perfect, so I should probably focus on appreciating the wonderful food, ambiance, and service. This place is fantastic!
Great experience overall but the service was subpar. Our server did the basics, but was not personable. Other than that the experience was great.
