Dosirak - Reserva de mesa

Pros: food was awesomeCons: dining in service is just okay.We ate in and te food was all wicked good (combo box, crispy tofu, and rice bowls). Glass noodles were unreal and everything else was really tasty. Only downside is the inside seating is quite small and the service (while friendly and polite) was a bit slow (having to wave to get help and things like your bill, etc). Luckily the food is well worth it, highly recommend it.

We usually stop in Dosirak whenever we travel upaisland, as the food is really good!I can only give 4 stars as they have a particular server there who perhaps is better suited to another line of work, as he seems pretty disinterested in serving guests. We walked into a empty place, and he barely uttered a hello, and I guess that set the tone for our visit, lol!The food is very good though!

I have to say we were very happy to find this restaurant open on a Monday, when other restaurants were closed. Some restaurants in Parksville and Qualicum beach wil be closed on Tuesday, so you have to really scramble to find some of them open. The food was very tasty, albeit my korean soup was to spicy- so maybe mention when you order, that you would like it mild.

The restaurant has a modern urban atmosphere and the staff is polite. The dumpling appetizer was served hot and fresh with plenty of dipping sauce. The galbi beef rib box was delicious, with perfect glass noodles, but could use more kimchi next time. The beef bibimbop was also very tasty. We will definitely return for another satisfying lunch. Had the donkatsu combo box and it was great. The sweet sauce it came with was also a great addition. Only disappointment was the sides: had kimchee (good) and bean sprouts (fine) but none of the sweet potatoes or bamboo you get at other Korean places.Also tried the Seoul box (beef) and enjoyed. The chicken was meh.Each box was $16 before tax.

The restaurant has more parking in the back, but lacks enough staff in the front area. I recommend getting takeout rather than dining in. The insufficient staff resulted in sticky floors not being mopped, slow service because of numerous takeout orders, and other issues. I would give 3 stars for takeout and 2 stars for dining in.

We had a great lunch at Dosirak. We tried the beef bibimbab, the bbq beef, and the japchae entree. Portions were large and tasty, and service was friendly albeit a bit slow. Atmosphere leaves something to be desired however the quality of food makes up for it. Great little spot located right by the Parksville beach

This establishment is a disappointment. They have unreliable hours, have falsely claimed to be open on multiple occasions, and should consider allowing a more honest business to occupy their location. It is truly a waste of space. Reserva una mesa ahora

These are all my favorite foods in one box! Tofu, cabbage salad...It was packaged so nicely and the taste of everything was delicious!! I think I'm addicted ? Thanks for the well priced good food guys!!

Taste is okay. About average Korean flavor. But too oily for my preference.
