My wife and I recently visited this restaurant after hearing great things about it. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the seafood linguini, which was overpriced at $22 and not worth the cost. The coffee was decent and the service was average, although the staff seemed more interested in their phones and chatting with each other than attending to customers. Additionally, we were put off by a waiter who used the restroom while wearing their apron and then returned to serving customers without washing their hands. The restaurant's restroom being located next to the kitchen was also unappealing. Overall, we will not be returning to this establishment.
Thought we had a great local café, not so. Coffee is good but the Eggs Benedict came as 2 poached eggs on rock hard sourdough with 2 spoons of yellowish sauce that tasted mealy. Was informed that I had to order spinach or anything as extras??????? Not even a smidge of parsley as garnish and it took ages. Gave it another go for lunch, which had been good previously, not a nice experience and have not gone back since. Trying the new cafes across in the newly opened section
I usually stay clear of Gungahlin when looking for a place to eat but G Tree Cafe is a bright light in an otherwise dull area. The coffee is great and the breakfast menu is top notch but the lunch menu can be a bit disappointing. The burgers are good but everything else is just average. The pasta's are not worth the money nor is the fried chicken. Nevertheless, the place is still better than most other cafes in the area.
This cafe site has had many owners in the last few years, but the current iteration has outlasted them all. Consistent quality coffee, food and service means we keep coming back. The food is fresh and simple, the coffee is always good with only minor variation time after time. A solid performer we can always rely on for a good meal and coffee.

We had been happy with this cafe but the last few visits we have changed our minds. The food has not been as good at all, the attention to detail has slipped and also the level of service has slipped dramatically. We now go elsewhere as a result. Need to pick up your game guys.
I absolutely adored their coffee. The servers were extremely helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate our vegetarian requirements. The cafe had a great atmosphere and the service was efficient. I will definitely be a regular customer!
Discovered this cafe prior to a shopping visit in Gungahlin. Excellent table service which we appreciated and very good coffee (full marks to the Barista). The cafe itself very clean and thoughtfully decorated. Congrats. G Tree Cafe staff.
Definitely the best coffee in Gungahlin. Always busy, but usually really fast coffee too. I think they use ONA coffee which probably helps to explain the quality, but baristas are good too.

Consistently great coffee and food. It's a little place so sometimes there's not many tables available. Glad to have this as a local cafe.
