Glad We Went Through this Gateway<br/ <br/ We visited their restaurant on Bay Pines Blvd. It was quite good. We started with the Kerala Shrimp appetizer which needed a little more zip. My wife had the Butter Chicken which was heavy and needed some brightness but was otherwise good. I had the Tandoori Platter which was great. The chicken was very tender and flavorful. We got a side of Tamarind Chutney which was fantastic. It brought the brightness that some of the dishes needed. We also got a nice Mango Lassi which should have been tarter but was nice. The Garlic Naan was terrific.<br/ <br/ Service was very good and the restaurant is nicely decorated and comfortable. I would definitely return...

Yay! Another choice in St. Pete!. I 'm very happy to find that the newly opened Gateway to India is going to be our new standby in our limited local Indian-food scene. (Our other standby is Deeya, in Largo. Pretty decor, perfect service, delicious food. And they are gluten-conscious, which is a must for my celiac husband. We ordered 'mild ' because we didn 't know their baseline standard for heat; next time we 'll order 'medium, ' because mild had no heat at all. However, it did not sacrifice spice for lack of hot pepper. We were there for dinner, but I look forward to checking out the lunch buffet.

My husband I had dinner last night at 'Gateway to India. '  We were blown away!  Everything was fantastic.  Wonderfully tasty Mulligatawny soup   Delhi Chat for appetizers and Chicken Tikka Masala  Chicken Tikka (without the Masala). We were very pleased that the 'mild ' orders were  still packed with delicious flavors.   The staff was friendly courteous.  Beautiful setting.  We wll be back often!

We went to lunch buffet. I.... We went to lunch buffet. <br/ It was great! Best in pinellas county!<br/ It was busy for week day lunch time. <br/ Flavor is bursting in my mouth. <br/ I could just keep eating till curry explosion, soooo good...<br/ I highly recommend this restaurant. <br/ <br/ Inside decor is cute Indian style. <br/ Outside might look effy but go for it!! Very good, great atmosphere and service is very good. Unfortunately they where out of two of the desserts on the menu. But we will come again and try the deserts. I had the tandoori chicken it was very flavorful. My daughter had the lamb morals it was awesome!

Was with a party of 7 , we all had the Sunday Buffet , Our meal is hot and enjoyable we also recommend the Mango Lassi as a beverage. Above average.
