You do not want to be treated the way the owner and business has treated my family and I today. We went for breakfast... 4 of us. Although we understand it was very busy and loud in there, it was already hard to hear our waiter to begin with but we tried to keep our minds open to having a good time! Our waiter was not communicating well with us and on accident smacked a cup with Tabasco causing a loud cracking sound cracking the cup and spilling water, he pretended like nothing happened and didn’t say anything and walked away. I should have written this review some time ago. I've been eating here for over twenty years. Georgie V's is excellent food and excellent service all around. More than that though, it's so obvious that ownership, Angelo and his family, care deeply about making their restaurant the best breakfast-lunch place it can be. As a customer, I've seen the restaurant change and develop over time and it's very cool to see a place that is truly focused on achieving excellence for it's customers. If you're looking for a breakfast-lunch place that is consistently great food and has a great atmosphere, then Georgie V's is your spot! I highly, highly recommend.
This is a fantastic and classic brunch spot in Northbrook that I've been visiting for the past 15 years. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the food is consistently excellent. Personally, I'm a big fan of their offerings! The prices are quite reasonable as well. I've never had a bad experience with the staff or the food! I particularly enjoyed the chic and beautiful challah French toast that my friend ordered!
Excellent! My wife and I were in town for a family event and stopped here for breakfast. It was a good decision! I ordered a greek style omelette with hash browns and pancakes, my wife ordered a veggie frittata with toast and fruit. The food was perfectly prepared. Service was fast and friendly, only a slight ding was a little fruit fly harassing my wife. The final bill $28 plus tax. So affordable!

I’ve been coming here for five years, probably over 100 times, as my wife and I visit most weekends. We’ve never had a negative experience. The food is fantastic, and the service is outstanding. The owner always makes us feel like VIPs whenever we walk in. It may sound strange, but this is our favorite restaurant. We’ve created wonderful memories and a sense of community here.
The food was amazing, and the restaurant itself is lovely and very clean. My only concern was that it took nearly 20 minutes for the food to arrive, even though there were only a few guests in the restaurant at the time. Other than that, it was a great breakfast experience.
I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. It was a popular breakfast spot, especially for a Wednesday morning. The service was good, and the food was very tasty and fresh. I highly recommend it if you’re in the Northbrook area!
Georgie Vs is a fixture in downtown northbrook. The staff is always friendly and attentive. Love the coffee and the cream! Not sure what kind it is. But makes for a great start to the day!
