I went to this restaurant for lunch today. The service was friendly and welcoming. The drinks are reasonably priced, with a light beer costing $4.90 and a glass of white wine priced at $7.90. The main courses start at $25. We were quickly given menus and there was a good variety of options, including a lunch special for $12.50 per person. We decided to order two dishes: fried duck with plum sauce and calamari with mild chili and salt. The duck was a decent size, but the batter was too heavy and overpowered the dish. mild spiced calamari A$11.00 is the same as squid with mild chilli salt at A$22.00 less 30grams. it said $19 online, but at the payment she advised the price went up to $21.80 plus surcharge. when reviewing another online site, it says $25.80 for the. squid with mild chilli salt?! I don't understand. it was literally with salt and chili, minimal squid/calamari very disappointed. hopefully they have their Squid game!
Even though I have always considered this restaurant to be one of my favorites, my last visit left me feeling like a second-class citizen. Despite being a frequent customer, the way I was treated was less than satisfactory. Additionally, the steak I ordered was undercooked and had a green tint to it.
Being a local i ordered a takeaway meal and was just a basic omelette.Never been so sick in all my life.When i finally found the energy to get out and about again i felt like throwing a brick thru their window, not happy jan.Over priced also, yuk!

Been here twice: first time had a bit of a stomach ache the next day and the second time my partner ordered the honey king prawns and had food poisoning.
this place is tasty, but be careful for the gluten-free diner. they see how they use gf soy! and you need to check every court. easier to go elsewhere
