I was asked to take off my hat when I picked up my meat dishes, but I had been served for three hours while wearing it and none of the staff said anything. When I pointed out that seven other people were also wearing hats, I was told it was different for me. This makes me question the double standards being applied here.
Charming little neighborhood pub! However, I have to say that the mushroom sauce is quite unappetizing. Each time I order it, I hope they've developed a new recipe, but I'm consistently let down to find it’s the same old dark, unpleasant sauce. Please, I urge you to do something about this!
Another terrible meal, I ordered steak thinking what could go wrong, salad was wilted, no dressing, chips cold, steak as thin as paper and fatty (took home for the dog), gravy on the side was disgusting and lumpy! I wish the club would change caterers

Meals are great value and very tasty. Oysters quite cheap. All staff have lovely smiles and very helpful. Great place for lunch
