Grand Banker Bar and Grill

The restaurant is conveniently situated near the waterfront and has a great atmosphere. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, even during busy times. I absolutely loved their grilled salmon. I can't remember the name of the appetizer I had, but it was chips with spinach and crab dip, recommended by the staff, and I enjoyed it so much that I will definitely be returning next time I visit Lunenburg!

We came to the Grand Banker for brunch (only on weekends and holidays) and wow, best eggs bennys I've ever had. We ordered the traditional and the lobster benny and I would recommend both! Covered in lots of delicious hollandaise, eggs poached to soft perfection, and the fries crispy. Great service, excellent view as it's right on the waterfront. Would recommend!

Great food by the water. We didn't have a view but the beer selection and seafood we ordered were very delicious. We got a flight of beers. 7x5 oz local brews. We also got the 4 seafood dish with salmon, halibut, scallops, shrimp with lemon butter sauce. The second dish was the fish cakes with house salad. Great food and excellent service.

This restaurant fills up fast. The staff advised us to arrive before 6 pm to avoid the rush, but even at 5:30 we barely snagged one of the last tables. The food was decent, but the service was lackluster and the wait times were long. I would consider returning if they could improve their seating capacity and hire more staff.

The food and service was amazing. I ordered the Vegetarian burger with side of house fries. The house fries were just amazing but the burger was So-So! The Patty tasted a little old and very Bland. Overall the service was amazing. They had some great local beers on tap as well.

On Thursday night, I arrived at the restaurant and had to wait for a table and my food. The waitress was friendly and the food was excellent! The lamb rack is a must-try dish and one of the best I have had in Canadian restaurants. The mussels are also a good choice here.

Seriously nice place, and nice folks! We did a pulled pork mac n' cheese, and pan-fried haddock. We sat at the bar and closed the place. Even though the place was busy, all the staff was chatty. It was a really enjoyable evening! Thank you so much!
