Very standard Hakata ramen that you can expect from the chain. The rich and steamy ramen is perfect for winter. There is a set available in the Hawthorn branch that is good value for money, you can pick a side and a drink with your ramen. The Mentai rice was a bit disappointing though, the Mentai paste was way less than what was showed in the menu.
Having read the positive reviews for this place, no doubt I went in with high expectations. The black and signature ramen did not disappoint. Dumplings was ok but came out a little burnt. Price is reasonable for the food quality. Would definitely come back next time, probably with more toppings
This restaurant offers a wide variety of authentic ramen in a traditional Japanese setting. The service is prompt, and placing an order online is a breeze. The gyoza is outstanding. What more could you want? Food: 5/5, Service: 5/5, Atmosphere: 5/5. Highly recommend!
