I've had a ridiculous craving for fried chicken lately so on Friday night one of my foodie friends and I decided to do a little food crawl in Dickson. Breaking my Korean fried chicken virginity, we headed to Hangari Kimchi in Dickson. It was about 6:30pm on a Friday night and we didn't have a booking. We were seated quickly and given the menu. There were a few things on the menu that I wanted to try but we were there for the fried chicken so we ordered the Incredible Gangjung chicken and a few beers to wash it down. The restaurant itself is quite small and the tables are very close together. There were quite a few people in for the Korean BBQ. The meal came out quickly and was served with a...

Tried various Korean dishes here. The seafood Korean pancake was really big, about a size of small pizza and quite thick too. Assorted steamed dumplings were average but tteubokkis were nice! Half a chicken of soy chickens were also pretty nice, it came with few pieces of white rice cakes : really nice side dishes on offer too so worth coming here if you want to have some Korean food I reckon!

The Korean restaurant was decent but overpriced. The food was well cooked and presented, with distinct Korean flavors. However, the $30 we paid for lunch felt too expensive for what we received. The kimchi spicy pork dish we had was tasty, but it was something we could have easily made at home. Overall, while I enjoyed the meal, I do not plan on returning to this restaurant in the future.

Ditched B for this one, and tried my first Korean in Canberra. We had the Kimchi omelette, pork with kimchi, pork dumplings, prawn dumplings (both steamed), and I tried some hot ginger tea which was AMAZING. The prawn dumplings were probably the highlight of our experience, but there was nothing on the menu I could fault. The kimchi omelette is massive too! Definitely recommended. Reserva una mesa ahora

I made a fantastic decision to have Korean food for dinner tonight. My children loved the pork schnitzel and chicken, while I savored the Bibimbap with pork. The food was outstandingly delicious. I am seriously considering coming back every day.

The dolsot bibimbap was really good, I only wished that they would have given miso soup on the side. <br/ <br/ My friends also enjoyed their tteokbokki Reserva una mesa ahora

The snow cheese chicken and the ganjung chicken were really good. One of its kind. However, the other dishes were pretty average and lacking flavor.
