HCK used to feel like home. It was one of my favorite spots to hang, eat, drink and listen to great live music. MY, have things changed! The spot shows visible signs of wear and tear on the interior. The service was good. They were out of almost every beer on tap. The liquor selection is slight. The bartender/server couldn't make the first drink I ordered FROM THE MENU because they were out of the ingredients. The food menu is an embarrassment to real food menus everywhere. I ordered fries, cause you can't go wrong with fries, right? WRONG! The fries tasted like the fried pickles my friend ordered! After work, I invited my friends for drinks and they recommended coming here. I must say, I was impressed with the place. The bartender was friendly and sweet. She made us some really good drinks and a Long Island that was strong but good!!! The music was on point. The DJ played a variety of hip hope and RnB music which made it even better. Now, let's talk about the food...Great! We ordered so much food and definitely ate it all. The prices are even better. Inexpensive and I hope they stay like that because I will be visiting a lot more. Definitely recommend this place!
Hat City Kitchen is a great place to hang out with friends. They schedule shows with entertainers, singers, and a jazzy atmosphere! The food is delicious and the drinks are great! It's all love at Hat City Kitchen, just go see for yourself.?
Came to Jersey on vacation and had a ball here. Good food and drinks, great service, clean and a great DJ. Just an over all great chill spot. Will definitely be back.

One of my favorite places to go. They have open mike nights and karaoke. Definitely order the Hatcity drink and the food is lip smacking good.
The place is very spacious and rates are pretty decent. The staff was very helpful and always available to answer questions.
Food was good. They were prompt and enjoyed the entertainment....I had shrimp and fried grits. Really good.
