Now, about the food: I ordered the beef and broccoli, and I absolutely loved it! It was served steaming hot and definitely freshly made. There were generous chunks of beef and a great amount of broccoli—perfectly balanced. The sauce was more than I anticipated, but overall, it was a delicious dish. I might have burned my tongue a little, but it was worth it! My fiancé ordered the Thai chicken curry from the entrée section. It also had plenty of veggies, and the chicken was cooked to perfection, with some nice large pieces. It had a lot going on, but in a good way.
We also ordered a side salad with both meals. It was a simple greens-and-dressing salad, but the dressing was out of this world!...
My wife and her friend went tonight and had a terrible experience. They only ever got apps and drinks, and had to remind the server for both. An hour and a half after ordering no sushi had arrived. When my wife 's friend complained to the manager, he had a very dismissive attitude and said this is the normal wait time . Bullshit. The table next to them commented about how long things were taking. Apparently Hiro 88 has gotten too big for their britches, and doesn 't understand that they 're far from the only game in town. They should 've comped at least some of the ticket, but didn 't, and my wife and friend left very disappointed. Hiro has always been my go-to in Lincoln. That 's now change...
The service and sushi was fantastic. It was a busy Sunday and we had a five person party but we were able to get to a table within 5 minutes. The only reason for the 4 star instead of 5 is that they didn't have any forks. It was hard for my 6 year old to eat noodles and sushi with chipsticks so she ate with her hands. No biggie and they told us they were running short...but still. Anyways, we had a great time and food hit the spot for our sushi craving. Julie was our waitress and she was great and even brought my little one a mini bowl of ice cream at the end of the meal.
The foods and drinks are both well above average and fair for the price point. But not overly impressive. The service on the other hand is never consistent as it depends on the server you get. The management can also be funky. There was a time where the server had spilled all over my clothes. And I received no discount or reimbursement of any kind. Which was disappointing. I think it wouldn't cost much for a manager to resolve that with more than a apology.

We managed to snag a spot at the bar before the concert, and the service was outstanding. If you're familiar with Hiro 88, you know they offer fantastic appetizers, such as the spicy edamame and Asian short ribs, along with a great selection of sushi and main dishes. It was a wonderful way to kick off the evening.
Just had yet another great sushi dinner with the family. Thankfully they got our table of six seated quickly on a Friday night. My eleven year old went to town on chicken lo mein like nobody's business. Our new find was the Wasabi Stinger the right amount of heat and delicious dressing. We will absolutely be back.
The table was sticky, and there was hair on my chair. The server seemed unfamiliar with the rewards program and how to use it. Additionally, the salad was wilted.
The sushi was truly disappointing. I had heard positive things about this place a few years ago, but it seems to have declined since then. I won’t be returning.

They refused to provide a refund for items they forgot to include in our take out. Horrible customer service. I will never go back.
Go for the Happy Hour sushi! The options are so plentiful and the food is so so good!
