My sister in law highly recommended this business to me for my party this weekend. I'm so glad she did! I looked up the menu online and gave them a call. They answered all my questions in a friendly, professional manner. Gave great suggestions for planning my meal. Took my order over the phone for 7 party size hot n ready pans which were ready on time as promised. I couldn't be happier. Cooked to perfection. I got 2 mac n cheese, 2 roasted veggies, 1 ea of green beans, hashbrown casserole pasta salad. They were all delicious. So many of my guests asked where I got the great dishes and I told all of them it was well worth the drive from Clanton for the awesome service and great tasting food....
Tried Home Plate Cooking for the first time after moving to Helena. We tried the daily special, chicken and dressing with Lima beans and sweet potato casserole. The dressing was a traditional Cornbread dressing reminiscent of Grandma's, with large pieces of white chicken. The Lima beans were seasoned well and fresh. The sweet potato casserole was hot and sweet, topped with candied pecans. The daily special was delicious, but what caught my attention was the variety of home cooked "take and bake" meals available. Will definitely try the "take and bake" option in the future.
A fantastic choice if you can't cook or need to cater an event. The food is delicious, and the prices are reasonable. Just be sure to call at least 24 hours in advance.
Never had a bad dish out of this place. Easy convenience. Usually going stock up freeze a lot of the meal. Makes it very easy to pull something out to cook for dinner.

I've been getting family-sized take-home meals from Home Plate for years, and they've always been fantastic every single time.
Love this place!! Some things are a little pricey but chicken and rice casserole and loaded chicken salad are our faves!!
