If you're a fan of English/Western Chinese, you'll love this restaurant. A bit rough round the edges - don't go there on a first date - but the food is excellent. Plentiful and flavoursome. In the top two Chinese I've been to since being in Australia and I've been to a lot. We had chicken sweetcorn soup, dim sum, duck pancakes (not used to people making them for me until I came to this country but tasty nonetheless), beef schezuan (really spicy and loads of green pepper and onion), sweet and sour Pork (too much to eat) and small fried rice that could've fed both of us alone but was yeung chow for the price of boiled. This restaurant is my favourite in Dee Why. I regularly drove to Chatswood to get my fix of BBQ pork and Soy Chicken but not I am only a short drive from Freshwater to the restaurant. The restaurant is clean and the food very nice. Fried Rice is excellent and I suggest a takeaway of one half a soy chicken with their delicious ginger and shallot sauce, some BBQ pork and of course a serving of the fried rice.I guarantee you will be back. They can also debone a duck and supply pancakes and sauces for the traditional Peking Duck. Yummo I am doing down there now my mouth is watering just typing this review.
We ordered a take away from here based on the good reviews and we were really disappointed. The steamed dim sims had been steamed and then deep fried. We ordered the squid and received deep fried fish - which was very tasty but the batter was so thick that we could only manage one piece each. The main course was tasty but as we were all looking forward to picking at a mixture of starters they were just far too greasy & the batter was so thick that it was very heavy & sickly.
Their Peking duck is amazing the best I've ever had ..including China. In fact any duck or chicken dish is very good as they process and roast their own on site.I've been a few times and the food is usually very good but the last visit the deep fry dishes were greasy and the other dishes salty so now not so sure ..will try again Good Value BYO and Licenced . Many Chinese customers so must be good and good value .

Its all about the bbq meat here. The bbq pork, crispy pork and roast duck are all excellent. I often pop by for one of their lunch deals, my daughter loves it too. Had dinner home delivered a couple of times as well and the food has always been tasty, plentiful and good value. Less greasy than some other chinese deliveries I've had, and always enough leftovers for lunch the nest day. Recommended.
As usual when visiting the Northern Beaches at Sydney we had dinner with our friends at Hongfa's. The service and food qualityand quantity are excelent. The menue is most comprehensiveand prices are reasonable. We shall repeat our visit when next at the Northern Beaches.
Absolutely delicious, hot, generous portions and prompt delivery. I was happy to find more than a few king prawns in the sauce. I have not had Chinese take-away for many years because of the sub standard quality; but my faith in Chinese take-away has been restored.
Tasty food and good service. The portions were huge and two of us could not even close to finish our portions. They provided boxes to take away our food and we made another meal of the leftovers. The duck, pork and stir fry dishes were very good. We will return.

Duck pancakes always impress. Great fried rice. Typical asian decore. Plastic seats and tables. But the food always impresses.
