I VERY rarely eat out and this used to be my favorite place to do so, in a world where I'm usually disappointed at other places. I always get the chicken strip plate and as a bonafide chicken finger lover, I rave about it to people that I know. The chicken strips have always been delicious and large in size. However, over the last year or so they've definitely been made smaller but I chalked that up to what everyone else is doing now and the fact that it seemed like some teens were being trained. Thank you for the excellent service and delicious food, including the homemade ice cream! Everything was so tasty and surprisingly quick! We came here to celebrate our dad's 84th birthday, and all he wanted was some quality seafood, particularly scallops and fried clams. He was absolutely thrilled with the scallops he received! Our entire family enjoyed everything we ordered; everything was fresh and cooked to perfection!
As a child, my family used to drive by Johnson's Restaurant Dairy Bar in Groton, as we drove to from our beloved 4-H Camp Middlesex in Ashby, MA. A special treat every summer was stopping for an ice cream on our way home. Fast forward MANY years I still love going there for an ice cream. I've never actually had any food here
My curly fries were cold when I got them. As was my fish sandwich with rotten lettuce on top. Was very disgusted with the food especially for the price that I paid. And the male manager there was rude to my boyfriend when he went back to order drinks.

The ice cream was delicious, and I really enjoyed the seafood salad roll I ordered. There are plenty of picnic tables outside for those who prefer outdoor dining, as well as a cozy indoor dining area where you can seat yourself.

I stopped in for lunch and was disappointed with the food. The fries were undercooked, and the ice cream lacked flavor. I won't be returning.
