It was in the opposite direction of where we were planning on going afterwards, but this detour was worth it. Hands down, one of the best kimbab I've ever had- and I've had many! The service was excellent, and the interior had a unique charm. It was quite peaceful during lunch on a weekday. We ordered the combo of sausage and tteokbokki, which was delicious—warm, fresh, and full of flavor, with just the right amount of spice. The kimbap was outstanding; I really appreciate when they make the rolls substantial. Overall, the food was fantastic and satisfying. I would definitely return! Everything was fresh and flavorful. I ordered number 20 jopok kimbap and I was so disappointed on what I got. I can 't believe this is what you meant by dungchi (the menu name) Jopok Tteokbokki is a Korean company and they misnamed their menu even though they know the menu name, and they should make their food followed to their menu name. The order I got was just a normal size kimbap and I payed 8 dollars. I would rather buy one from regular k market. Won 't make this choice again. Never gain.
I really enjoy this restaurant! The Korean street food here is fantastic, and as a fan of Korean cuisine, I appreciate the delicious and spicy flavors. The staff is very friendly, and the management is excellent. I also love the ambiance, with K-Pop music playing and a modern Korean-inspired interior. I tried Jopok 3 times since first coming across it last year and falling in love with it. I truly loved the food and even drove out of the way. To my chagrin, the third time which is the charm, I had a food poisoning after eating here. Good dduk bok ki is rare to find, so I really wanted to support this Korean business... Never going back
However, when it came time to pay the bill, he insisted on an 18% gratuity because our party had more than six people. We were a group of five adults and two young children, aged two and one. We believe in tipping for good service, but his demand felt quite unreasonable and disappointing.
I recommend if you want good Korean street food. The spicy rice cakes were pretty spicy but I couldn't stop eating it. That's how you know it's good.

Delicious. The batter was light. The twigim was crispy. The ddeokbokki was the right balance of spicy and flavorful.
Love love this place. Close to flight school . One a month pit stop for some traditional Korean street food.
