I ordered the Ju Roll, their most expensive option at $25, and the Spicy Salmon Roll for $7.25. Unfortunately, the Ju Roll was quite underwhelming; it was just okay, not particularly good or great, and definitely not worth the high price. I can't recommend it. The Spicy Salmon Roll, on the other hand, was larger in diameter compared to rolls from other places, but it was poorly assembled and mostly filled with rice, with very little fish. The sauce inside wasn't spicy and lacked flavor too. Overall, I was disappointed with both rolls and probably won't be returning.
Owner is always nice, the food is always consistant and the sushi is one of the best around. Full of flavor the fish is always amazing and their spicy tuna is the best ive ever tried.Vegetarian options: They have a few vegatable rolls, along with some veggie side dishes.
I just so happened to be in Groton, and googled Sushi near me . This place popped up first and boyyyyy I now know why it did!!! Thee BEST sushi I have EVER had. Wow! Small place, BIG flavor! I will 110% be back and sending folks their way! 5 out of 5! Food: 5/5
The sushi tasted good, but the rolls were poorly packed, lacking sufficient fillings, and fell apart easily. Definitely not worth the $15 price tag. It's clear that their customer service skills also leave much to be desired. Food rating: 3/5.

Sushi was the best we've had in a long time, definitely our new spot! The drawings all over the walls inside are really cool. Las vegas roll and rainbow roll were both excellent!Food: 5/5
Incredibly fresh fish and outstanding sushi! The prices are quite reasonable as well. One of my favorites from this place is the monkey brain! I highly recommend it. Food: 5/5
The best sushi in the Groton-New London area! The prices are excellent considering the value you get, and both the sushi and nigiri are incredibly delicious!
Monkey Brain is a fantastic choice for an appetizer! All of their rolls are delicious and spot-on, and they’re more affordable than Koto.
