The food here is exceptional, but keep in mind that you need to order at the counter since it's a New England wienery, not a traditional restaurant. The pancake—yes, just one—is larger than many large pizzas found at other places. The breakfast burritos are enormous (good luck finishing one) and the omelets are just as big. I highly recommend trying The Kamp Dog along with a chili frito or, my personal favorite, the 'dyno' frito. If you go and wonder if there's a way to pack a week's worth of calories into a single sandwich, just ask Ken. I’ve visited this restaurant three times now. On my first visit, I tried their mini burgers to get a taste of what they offer. For my second and third visits, I ordered the Firehouse Burger, and during my third visit, I added jalapeño peppers to it. The burger is essentially a cheeseburger topped with chili and raw onions. I enjoyed it so much that I ended up ordering it twice in a row! Just a heads up, it can get a bit messy, haha. If you appreciate mom-and-pop diners and burger joints, definitely check this place out if you're in New London!
We visited the restaurant primarily for the enormous pancake we had seen featured on Phantom Gourmet. While its size was certainly impressive, the taste and texture were just average. To be honest, I didn't find it worth the carbs and calories. Everything was cooked right on the large grill, and it was indeed fresh. Although it was an interesting experience to see the pancake, I personally feel that once is enough for me.
Quite unexpected breakfast lunch place. Right next to Food Co Op near courthouse in New London. Huge sandwiches and they were good! Breakfast served all day. Dogs good too and lots of different toppings. Ordered a Cuban..Pulled pork and a hot dog. Very nice price for the size. One table outside so you can eat in the air if you like. Or eat in.

Overall, it's a great spot to enjoy a hot dog. The staff are very friendly. Kamp Dogs is located on a corner, so it can be easy to miss due to the building's layout. The ambiance of the place is nice, but they should consider removing the books from the windows.
I was in search of a quick spot to grab a bite to eat. Upon entering, I was swiftly welcomed by the staff, who were extremely friendly. They provided clear explanations of the menu, I placed my order, and then enjoyed my meal. The hot dogs were really good!
