Kanda Sushi - Reservar una mesa

This place is as authentic as it gets in Ventura County. The head chef is incredibly nice, although also traditional. If you are looking for incredible sushi or hard to find quality and service, this is the place. I am currently learning Japanese and every employee at Kanda gets extremely excited when I speak it. This place is such an amazing environment, please go there. Only warning I can give is the sushi is very traditional, don’t try to order special rolls or bathe your food in sauce.

First of all, sushi should be enjoyable...... in the Japanese tradition, hospitality is a primary rule... When it comes to the food , the sushi is ok... but when ordering ankimo, a staple in Japanese cuisine it should be made fresh ... in Kanda's case it's out of a can... not good. At the end of the day , the sushi chef is condescending, and if I and all my friends have to be completely honest, it's just average. If I could give them a zero ... I would!

Service is terrible unless you order Omakasi. The owner only takes special care to these patrons and ignores the others. Order sizes are small and expensive. Other options are much better and they want customers to feel like they want to return. Not going back.

Love this spot . I've been dining there for years . Recently , hate to say this , the vibe and food have been off . Ate their twice in the past month . Both times it was just off .

Ok food. Tiny dishes. Very expensive.We went to another restaurant after because we were so hungry
