We ordered take-away for four people - four entrees and two mains. Of the entrees, the spring rolls, crispy wontons, and salt and pepper prawns were all great, though the corn cakes were bland and flavourless. In the mains, we have the stir-fried Hokkien noodles, which had a subtle yet still tasty flavour, and the laksa, which was quite disappointing. The soup was thin, and tasted very strongly of celery. It lacked the coconutty richness of a proper laksa.While the dishes ended up being a bit hit and miss, there was more hit than miss! Overall we enjoyed our meal, and will probably go back.
Attended an end of conference dinner at Kingsland, which showcased the food offered by the restaurant. The many varied dishes ranged from traditional Yum Cha to vegan versions of fish, fowl and meat. All were delicious and scintillating. It was also great to be free from concerns about MSG, which is often a problem with Asian foods. The atmosphere on the night was very convivial and the staff seemed to take in their stride to serve about 150 conference attendants plus extra casual diners, which suggests they might often get such crowds. Great place to go back to.
This little spot has such an amazing cuisine! Although it looks a bit plain from the outside, this little restaurant was warm and friendly inside on a cold Canberra evening. But the food was just sensational. Tasty, huge variety, and the chef was amazingly talented at making non-meat products taste pretty good - duck, chicken, goose, lamb, beef, prawn... all available but made from soy. The veggies were beautifully fresh and crisp - we could just about feel it doing us good! Pretty reasonable prices too. We'll be back.
Tucked away in that little corner of DIckson, this place is a gem. I'm a hardcore meat eater but the fake meat dishes here are amazing (particularly the fried 'fish' made out of seaweed, and the roast 'goose'). Great option for if you're dining out with a vegetarian or vegan and want to try something new.

Went late Friday night, not busy at all. Quite a large menu I chose the Tofu Hot Pot and my partner got the Mock Pork Cutlet. The tofu hot pot was delicious, seasoned and cooked to perfection. However my partner wasn't too impressed with the pork cutlet. It wasn't breaded and a little bit flavourless. Would go again but probably not over another vegan restaurant.
I went there with my husband for dinner on a Friday night and, being vegan, I was pleased to see that the menu resembled exactly what a typical Vietnamese restaurant offers.. There would have been at least 40 dishes on the menu with tofu "seafood", "beef" and so on.The dumplings were absolutely fantastic and I loved the noodles to. Definitely recommend it!
Another superb visit to kings land for hot and sour soup. I avoid textured protein but love the other vegan stuff - still have the tingle in my mouth!!
Very tasty food. All vegan. I'm not vegan or vego and I love it here. If you are open to the idea of fake soy meats you won't regret trying this place.

This was my first vegan option years ago but it changed hands and is my second favourite vegan dinner option in Canberra. A huge selection.
Great food and huge selection and better value that any other vegetarian restaurants in the area! Mock meat selection is huge.
