Kurhaus am Titisee

Stopped over to get some lunch. The view over the lake from the terrace was nice. The place advertised fresh chantarelles, but unfortunately the dish we had (some gratine type of pastadish with chantarelles and vegetables) was totally tasteless, a big waste of a great...ingredient. To get a bill we had to get it inside since the waitress totally ignored us.

Ristorante creato per grandi numeri di avventori e riunioni.Noi ci siamo trovati bene in una salette pranzo laterali,tranquilla e con una veduta di scorcio sul sottostante lago.Ottimo il pesce impanato e il gelato alla foresta nera.Consigliato per una pausa pranzo.Pulito con personale gentile e disponibile.

The food was really bad. I ordered the shnitzel which was dry and oily, with french fries that came straight from the freezer. My girlfriend ordered trout which was kust as poor. Did not justify the price which was really high relative to the food.

We sat outside, overlooking the lake, had great service and really fantastic white asparagus dishes. The asparagus was cooked to perfection.

Food ok, But waitress very unfriendly and aggressive. Honestly it’s better to avoid. There are a lot of restaurants in the area.
