We had a lovely family meal on a peaceful Sunday evening at this restaurant. The food was excellent - we enjoyed meatballs, calamari, and mushrooms in Gorgonzola on ciabatta for our starters. For our main courses, we had fillet steak and sea bass which were both cooked perfectly with delicious vegetables and sauces. The portions were generous and satisfying. The staff were friendly and attentive. We highly recommend paying a visit to this restaurant and we will certainly be returning soon. They also offer a takeaway service which is definitely worth a try. Overall, a big thumbs up from me!
Now named Benvenuti, we found the restaurant by accident, as we were staying in the area for a dance competition and what a fortunate accident that was. Really nice surroundings, and excellent front of house staff who looked after us royally We had a mix of pizza and pasta with our younger son saying that it was the best pizza he'd ever had The food was plentiful, really hot, extremely tasty, excellent value for money and there was a good range on the menu. Couldn't recommend this place highly enough
First time we'd been here since it changed hands and changed name but we weren't disappointed. Food is very reasonably priced, even the specials (Fillet steak circa £24 which was fabulous BTW). Portions are very generous and staff very friendly. My only gripe would be that the beer was wasn't as cold as it should have been. The food was great, all 5 of us were more than happy with the price, service and quality. I would recommend...!!!!
We have been in the area for the last two days and visited the restaurant both nights. The owner is Sicilian and my wife works in Sicily and we use the have an apartment there. The food is very authentic and the calamari starter was the best calamari I’ve had outside Sicily. All of the other dishes we had were very good and excellent value for money.

We booked online with no problem and received confirmation email. Restaurant was lovely and clean.. service was excellent and the food was outstanding! We had their homemade Lasagne.. Homemade Pizza.. Homemade Garlic Bread.. with a few extras on the side.. all the food was served fast and food was all cooked fresh a piping hot! 5 stars all round.
My wife and I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. We had originally made a reservation somewhere else, but ended up trying Pizza and Pasta instead. We were so glad we did! I ordered the Cannelloni and my wife had the Carbonara, both of which were delicious. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We can't wait to return.
It was a spur of the moment decision to try Amore on the 19 th November with my girls friends I was so impress I came back with my husband 3 days later and again we were blown away the mushroom starter was to died for as well as the chicken and beef pancakes and with the complementary nibbles just made our night.
We recently enjoyed another fantastic meal with great service at this restaurant. This was our fourth time dining in, and we have also been getting takeout from here on a weekly basis for the past few months. It's always a great value for the money and we are consistently impressed.
