We tried this restaurant after recommandation of a delivery organic pizza shop near this restaurant. And it was a great discovery. On May 13th had dinner at La Recré. Given the nice weather and because we had made a reservation we were seated on the terrace in front of the restaurant. This was nice.Service during dinner was good and the chef himself came along to take the order and to check after the dinner that everything had been to our satisfaction.The starters were nice.The main plates (cod fish in a mediterranean preparation) were very nice.All in all a good meal.

it is located near to Piet Huyssentruyt. But we better should say Piet Huyessantruyt is located near to La récré. The 'maître ' was superb. And the food succulent good ... local products with knowlegde of coocking. we stayed 2 weeks close to les vans and...we couldn 't resist to visit the place more then 7 times . every visit to another restaurant was black to white. thanks for heaven...

We had a lovely family evening in this great restaurant. The food was amazing; and everything is made with high quality local produce. The atmosphere is relaxed; we got a terrace table which was great, but you may need to reserve ahead to get one....And the host was really friendly, fast, and spoke good English.

So I mean that the food at the price level was excellent, which is very attractive (in our opinion). We were reserved late a day and had a place in the restaurant. The terrace looked like. So, inside was according to all preferred (climate) location....Service up to expected quality
Limited menu, although what is served is excellent. How can fish and ships be so good and demanding. And really good service/value.
