From the city looking for a good lunch place. Came over our recipe cafe that does not disappoint. Shrimp Salad was delicious with many huge shrimps in a light dressing on a fresh Brioche beer. Also, the Shrimp Po Boy again had baked large shrimps easily and served with delicious French french frits. I need to chat with the owners who have checked very personally and regularly with us and have answered all the questions we had on the menu. If you are in the area, you will definitely not want this wonderful breakfast and lunch or an early dinner as they close at 5.00. The next time we are from Kentucky, we will definitely return.
I'm so glad I didn't give up at first to find this place. The really sweet lady I wish I was helpful about the phone and just as warm in person. I bought a shrimp/cram and a bowl and she must have read my mind when she recommended the special drinks. I went with a peach rosemary lemonade and it was fresh, delicious and perfectly paired with my meal. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this sweet and cozy cafe for anyone looking for delicious food and service to fit.
I was born and raised in Louisiana. I have a, let's say, several strong opinions, and a long history with shrimp and grits. I doubt I'll ever have the opportunity to sample the rest of their menu because I don't think I've had better in close to a decade. Everyone needs this in their life. This will be that dish I keep coming back to, mmph *chef's kiss*. I called my mother about these grits.
That's a great find. Tomorrow my parents had breakfast and we had a nice time. Beverly was so nice and attentive. Many options in the menu. I went with the Chesapeake breakfast dish. The lump crab was plentiful and the lumps were beautifully large. It was perfection. Can't wait to come back soon.
